Welcome to the most fun part of the Walnut Hill family - Walnut Hill Kids! We know kids love to have fun … and so do we.

We serve a creative God. Learning about Him doesn’t have to be boring! Kids are taught about Jesus through skits, videos, music, crafts and games.

Take a moment to read about the Kids Ministry at each campus below. Most importantly, please contact the leader at your campus to help your children connect with new friends.

Online Campus

Bethel Campus

Sunday Mornings: Kids up to Grade 6 are invited to join Walnut Hill Kids during the 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday services. After checking in and heading to their classrooms, Preschoolers-Grade 6 come together for a kid-friendly worship time in our elementary and preschool venues. Kids hear lessons and participate in fun activities just for their age group.

Family Service: The last Sunday of the month, families of kids Grades 1-6 enjoy worshipping together in the main Worship Center before being dismissed to their classes.

56ers Youth Group: We have a 56ers group for kids in Grades 5 and 6 that meets first and third Fridays each month during the school year for fun events (Sept.-June.) Please contact kids@walnuthillcc.org if you have a 56er who might like to join us!

Special Needs: Do you have a child with special needs? We would love to serve you and your family! Learn about our Special Needs Ministry.

New Milford Campus

Sunday Mornings: Nursery and classes for toddlers, preschoolers and elementary ages are available during our 9:30 a.m. service. After you have checked your child in at one of the kiosks (we’ll help you if this is your first time), he or she will come with you to the main Worship Center for worship and will then be dismissed to class following the worship time.

56ers Youth Group: We have a 56ers group for kids in Grades 5 and 6 that meets first and third Thursdays of the month from 7-8:30 p.m. (optional hangout time at 6:30) during the school year for fun events (Sept.-June.)

The Valley in Derby Campus

Waterbury Campus

Sunday Mornings: Nursery and classes for toddlers, preschoolers and elementary ages are available during our 9:30 a.m. service. Kids will hear Bible lessons and participate in fun activities just for their age group.

Family Worship: The first Sunday of every month, kids enjoy worship together with their families in the sanctuary before being dismissed to their classes.

56ers Youth Group: We have a 56ers group for kids in Grades 5 and 6 during the 9:30 a.m. service. 56ers (including Grade 4,) meet the second Friday of the month from 6:30-8 p.m. for a fun night of pizza, games and teaching (Sept.-June.)

A Note About Safety

Safety is our first priority. We have several safety measures in place to provide the safest environment possible for your kids:

Each of our volunteers is required to go through an application process that includes a background check.
Every child who comes through our Kids area is checked in through our computer system, and the parents are given a name badge and a security tag.
Throughout our services, we have a safety team in place at each of the exits and entrances to the Kids area.
Before kids are allowed to exit, parents are required to check their security tag with one of our safety team members.
