We want to ignite a passion for Jesus in students in Grades 7-12.

Walnut Hill Youth Ministry exists to ignite a passion for Jesus in students. We provide safe environments for students to explore, own and engage their own faith. We are called to help students develop a bigger, better picture of who God is and who He has created them to be.

Interested in learning about next steps for youth? Our Milestone Track is designed to help youth grow in their faith.

Youth meeting times are a little different at each campus. Please contact the ministry leader at your campus to help get your teen connected quickly to new friends.

Online Campus

Bethel Campus

Sunday @ 9 & 11: Every Sunday at 9 & 11 a.m., students (Grades 7-12) gather in the Upper Room for a student service. On the last Sunday of the month, students worship with their families.

Youth Group: Youth group is a place where Walnut Hill students and their friends can belong and a place where they can explore who Jesus is in a safe community. During the school year on Tuesdays from 6:30-9 p.m., students gather together by grade (7-8 & 9-12) to experience high energy worship, have fun together and connect with God. We also have time for small groups. Our small groups are divided by age and sex.

New Milford Campus

Sunday @ 9:30: Students (Grades 7-12) at the New Milford Campus meet in their own space for a time of study and fun. Students join the service in the Worship Center to worship with our church family as a whole and then are released to the Youth Room.

Youth Group: Students gather for Youth Group in the Youth Room every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. during the school year to grow deeper in their relationships with each other and with God.

The Valley in Derby Campus

Waterbury Campus

Sunday @ 9: Students at the Waterbury Campus start in main service and then meet in their own space for a time of study and fun. Students join the service in the Worship Center to worship with our church family as a whole and then are released to the Youth Room. Students are divided by age - middle school (Grades 6-8) and high school (Grades 9-12.)

Sunday @ 11: Students at the Waterbury Campus worship and stay with their families for the duration of the service.

Youth Group: Students gather for Youth Group every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Youth Room during the school year to grow deeper in their relationships with each other and with God.

MILESTONE TRACK

There are important milestones in student's walk with Christ as they take steps in following Him. These are meant to be a journey for both youth and their parents.

New to Faith Class

Baptism Class

This class is for youth Grades 7-12 interested in learning about baptism and taking the next step in their faith journey. This class is held quarterly throughout the year on Tuesday nights before Youth Group. Students should register for this class.

Discipleship 101

This is a 5-week session designed for youth Grades 7-12 who are looking to grow deeper in their faith. In this series, youth will explore subjects such as assurance of God’s guidance, how to put God first, the importance of God’s Word and more. Students should register for this class. Stay tuned for upcoming dates.

Discipleship 102

This is a 5-week session designed for youth Grades 7-12 who are looking to grow deeper in their faith following Discipleship 101. In this series, youth will chat with Pastor Matt about deeper subjects such as perseverance through suffering, the power of prayer and living out the Fruit of the Spirit. Students should register for this class.
